We are currently recruiting an experienced joiner to join a well‑established and busy business based in the Wigton area. This is a hands‑on role working on the build and finishing of high‑quality timber structures, offering consistent weekday work and an immediate start. This opportunity would suit someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, enjoys working as part of a team, and is confident working across a range of joinery tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out a range of joinery tasks, including assembly and finishing work
- Working with timber to produce high‑quality structures and fittings
- Reading and working from technical drawings where required
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
- Supporting the wider team with project delivery
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
About you
- Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
- Able to travel to the site, as there is no public transport available
- Relevant qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential
