We are currently recruiting General Operatives to join a well-established and busy business based in the Wigton area. This is a hands-on role supporting a variety of ongoing projects, offering consistent weekday work and an immediate start. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys practical work, being part of a team, and getting stuck into a range of tasks within a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with a range of on-site projects
- Handling, moving and organising materials
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Supporting skilled team members with day-to-day tasks
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
About you:
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Willing to take on a variety of practical tasks
- Able to travel to the site, as there is no public transport available
- Previous experience in a hands-on or labouring role would be beneficial but is not essential
