With continued investment in people, processes, and facilities, they are now looking to strengthen their quality control function with the appointment of a quality assurance specialist. The Role
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that components and parts—both internally manufactured and sourced from suppliers—meet strict quality standards and specification requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out inspections on a wide variety of technical components
- Operating precision measurement tools including CMMs, micrometers, verniers, and gauge blocks
- Accurately recording and maintaining quality documentation and inspection results
- Identifying defects, managing non‑conformance reports, and liaising with suppliers for resolution
- Verifying supplier certification and ensuring documentation compliance
- Reporting on quality assurance outcomes to department leads
- Mentoring and supporting junior quality inspectors to maintain best practices
- Actively contributing to ongoing improvements in quality processes
About You
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a quality inspection or quality control role
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
- Experience using CMM equipment and software (ideally PC‑DMIS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving environment
