We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our fast-growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy and expanding company with consistent work and long-term prospects. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting waste from various sites and transporting it safely to landfill locations. In addition, the role includes collecting and delivering materials to customers, ensuring all loads are handled efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations. You will be assigned your own vehicle, allowing you to take pride in maintaining your truck to a high standard. The role offers a competitive salary along with paid breaks, reflecting our commitment to supporting our drivers. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and able to work independently while representing the company in a positive manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport goods and materials safely and efficiently across multiple locations.
  • Ensure all deliveries arrive on time and in pristine condition.
  • Oversee and assist in the loading of vehicles to avoid damage.
  • Check all loads against customer orders in collaboration with the Transport Manager and Loader.
  • Keep your vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues where needed.
  • Drive responsibly and comply with all legal and company driving regulations.
  • Complete all required delivery paperwork and perform daily vehicle checks.
  • Support general yard duties when required.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety standards.
  • Current CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Valid MQPC (Driver Qualification Card).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience driving a HGV Class 2 tipper vehicle (preferred).
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to operational demands.
  • Clean driving license (preferred).
