We’re looking for an experienced Back-End Engineer to join a digital delivery team working on enterprise-scale Sitecore platforms and integrations. This is an opportunity to work within an agile squad delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences across a wider connected ecosystem.

Contract until end of 2026

Location: Milton Keynes or Moorgate (depending on candidate location)

The Role

As a Back-End Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain the services, integrations, and configurations that underpin a modern Sitecore-based digital platform. You’ll play a key role in developing scalable back-end solutions, integrating with internal business systems, and supporting API-first and headless architectures. Working closely with front-end engineers, product teams, and stakeholders, you’ll help deliver reliable, secure, and user-focused digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop back-end services using .NET / C#
  • Build and maintain integrations between Sitecore and internal platforms such as CRM and identity services
  • Support API-driven and headless architecture implementations
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and performant
  • Collaborate within agile delivery squads across engineering and product teams
  • Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and best engineering practices
  • Troubleshoot and optimise existing services and integrations

What We’re Looking For

  • 6–7 years’ experience in back-end engineering
  • Strong experience with .NET / C#
  • Experience working with Sitecore CMS platforms
  • Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and headless architectures
  • Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as CRM and identity/authentication services
  • Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance best practices
  • Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working on customer-facing digital platforms at enterprise scale
