Responsibilities

  • Specification and cross-platform implementation of state-of-the-art cryptographic algorithms (incl. Post-Quantum Cryptography) and secure software based on functional requirements.
  • Design and specification of software countermeasures against physical attacks such as Side-Channel Analysis (SCA) and Fault Injection (FI).
  • Collaboration with security architects and internal evaluation teams to enhance software countermeasures.
  • Providing technical leadership for cryptographic domains, driving domain evolution, influencing architectural decisions, and supporting project planning.
  • Collaboration with OS and firmware teams to ensure clean and secure integration of the cryptographic software into the final product.
  • Working closely with the group’s test and platform support engineers to ensure maximum product quality.
  • Driving product certification activities and supporting security evaluations.

Your Profile

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in mathematics, cryptography, computer science, electronic/electrical engineering, information technology or relevant discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in cryptography and embedded security (or an equivalent combination of advanced degree and relevant experience), with strong understanding and implementation of cryptographic primitives (e.g., ECC, RSA, AES, SHA-2/SHA-3).
  • Solid experience in embedded software development using C and Assembly, and strong knowledge of microcontroller architecture (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, RISC-V).
  • Knowledge of hardware and software countermeasures against side-channel and fault-injection attacks.
  • Experience in Post-Quantum Cryptography is a plus.
  • Experience with Rust is a plus.
  • Strong debugging and analysis skills.
  • You are a proactive team player with a strong sense of ownership and a proven ability to deliver results.
