UK based with travel. My client is a well-known leading retailer looking for an experienced Head of Fleet to manage a large fleet of home delivery vehicles across the country with experience within future strategy, zero emissions and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining and leading the fleet strategy across the country and managing all aspects of van fleet from procurement through to compliance and performance.
- Ensuring the right size fleet for seasonal demand.
- Defining the vehicle sourcing strategy.
- Driving continuous improvements against KPIs.
- Maintaining and driving the driver fleet strategy including the use of telematics.
- Managing and maintaining a strong and diverse external client and supplier list.
- Defining and working towards the zero emission strategy.
Experience
- Previous experience in a Head of Transport or Fleet role.
- Have previously managed a large fleet of home delivery vehicles.
- Deep understanding of UK fleet compliance.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale LCV fleets across multiple sites or regions.
- Strong knowledge of EV technology and electric van fleet transition strategies.
