Due to continued growth, they are seeking a commercially minded Depot Manager to lead and develop one of their key Scottish operations. This is a senior operational role with full responsibility for depot performance, profitability, compliance, and customer service.
As Depot Manager, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the day-to-day running and commercial success of the depot. You will lead transport and operational teams as well as be responsible for customer acquisition. Full P&L responsibility for the depot, driving revenue growth and cost control.
- Managing all transport and warehouse operations, ensuring service levels are consistently achieved.
- Leading, motivating, and developing transport managers, planners, supervisors, and drivers.
- Managing fleet utilisation, maintenance planning, and operational efficiency.
- Building strong relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities to improve service and grow accounts.
- Monitoring and reporting on KPIs including margin, utilisation, compliance, service performance, and costs.
- Acting as the senior point of contact for customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

- Proven experience as a Depot Manager, Transport Manager, or Senior Operations Manager within haulage or related transport environments.
