NXA Talent are delighted to be supporting a prestigious 3pl based in Yorkshire with an Operations Manager Vacancy in their flagship retail/ecomm multi-user operation based in West Yorkshire. The role would be a great fit for somebody currently working as a Shift Manager or Operations Manager looking to advance their career and commercial customer understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers on all operational aspects of their contracts, including processes, costs, and service delivery.
  • Supervise and manage warehouse staff working on the contract(s), ensuring labour and operational costs stay within budget.
  • Monitor performance against customer KPIs and SLAs, ensuring targets are consistently met.
  • Prepare and issue customer service reports on time and support the rollout of new initiatives or process improvements.
  • Maintain regular communication with senior customer representatives to address operational needs and feedback.
  • Train and coach staff and team leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality performance.
  • Implement and maintain company policies, procedures, and best practices across all warehouse activities.
  • Support the site management team and assist with other contracts or operational areas as needed.

Your Skillset:

  • Operational experience managing within a warehousing/logistics environment (preferably within a 3pl).
  • Demonstrable experience of working in customer focused distribution with customer management experience being an advantage.
  • Must be open to working either Monday - Friday on a day shift OR Sunday - Thursday on a day shift (weekend working is done with a shift premium).
