Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the running of a safe and busy depot environment as the senior escalation point on nights
- Ensure best in practice processes are followed across the operation with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Report and investigate incidents within the operation and find solutions proactively
- Manage drivers and depot function across a busy transport operation
- Oversee a national haulage network performance across nights
Skills Needed for the role:
- A background in operational transport management with a transport management CPC necessary
- Experience within commercial transport is advantageous
- Knowledge of transport compliance is essential
- An understanding of operational profitability would be an advantage
- A background in road haulage is preferred
