About the Role
Responsibilities
- Lead junior managers with day to day work and drive performance within the final mile operation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide live solutions within the operations environment
- Drive KPI performance with key areas being cost and OTIF metrics
- Conduct weekly forecast meetings for resource and financial provision
- Review and Plan resource and budget for operational peaks
- Monitor driver resource and ensure appropriate staffing and provision for operational need
- Control operational budget and drive profitability metrics
Required Skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to function well in high volume environments
- Strong logistics planning and data skills are advantageous
