About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Lead junior managers with day to day work and drive performance within the final mile operation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide live solutions within the operations environment
  • Drive KPI performance with key areas being cost and OTIF metrics
  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings for resource and financial provision
  • Review and Plan resource and budget for operational peaks
  • Monitor driver resource and ensure appropriate staffing and provision for operational need
  • Control operational budget and drive profitability metrics

Required Skills

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to function well in high volume environments
  • Strong logistics planning and data skills are advantageous
  • Experience of managing large driver populations is advantageous
