As a WMS Consultant, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of Blue Yonder WMS within the logistics operations. You will work in a cross-functional project team, translating business requirements into effective IT solutions. Your tasks include:
- Configuring the WMS
- Supporting integrations
- Testing functionalities
- Troubleshooting issues
- Training key users
Support the implementation teams with all tasks related to customer implementation projects within the IT/WMS policies. These include (but are not limited to):
- Tuning requirements
- Configuration of BY WMS
- Drafting specifications for developments (interfaces, labels, and forms)
- Testing solutions
- Training key users
- Go-Live migration tasks
- Resolution of incidents (troubleshooting)
Support similar business projects such as process improvements and (customer) change requests. Collect wishes from business stakeholders and drive implementation project teams to develop deliverable, SMART requirements within project timelines. Provide solutions within the configuration possibilities of BY WMS and challenge stakeholders to accept configurable solutions.
Within your expertise team of WMS consultants, provide guidance and support to junior employees (if applicable). Act as second-line support for incidents and change requests. You have a natural ability to fine-tune requirements within teams, always striving to find and propose the most optimal solutions within a project's scope. Collaboration comes easily to you—you work effectively with large business and IT teams, embracing new ideas and building upon them to drive success.
With an enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated mindset, you take ownership of your work and adapt quickly to new challenges, always looking for ways to innovate and improve. Experience in WMS systems (BlueYonder or a similar top-end WMS solution such as Manhattan, SAP) in different subject matter roles both implementation and upgrade projects and support. Proven experience with integration projects for customers, preferably multi-location supply chains, with the responsibility to configure WMS. Knowledge of SQL, and experience in developing with reporting/labels tools is a plus.
