We are seeking a senior Manhattan Active WMS Design Lead to lead the design and delivery of complex warehouse technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own solution design for Manhattan Active WMS across complex distribution and fulfilment environments.
- Convert business and warehouse requirements into scalable configurations, technical designs, and system solutions.
- Design integrations between MAWM and platforms such as ERP, OMS, TMS and warehouse automation.
- Lead the use of ProActive, APIs, microservices and event-driven integrations to extend the platform where required.
- Provide technical direction across core warehouse processes including inbound, inventory, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment and fulfilment.
- Oversee integration, testing, performance, deployment and production support activities.
- Work closely with operations, IT, vendors and implementation partners to resolve design challenges and drive delivery.
- Support technical governance, design standards, release management and continuous improvement.
- Mentor technical team members and contribute to solution reviews, workshops and implementation planning.
- 8+ years' experience delivering or architecting WMS solutions.
- 3+ years of hands-on Manhattan Active WMS experience in a design or architecture capacity.
- Strong knowledge of MAWM configuration, ProActive extensions and warehouse processes.
- Experience designing REST APIs, JSON/XML integrations and microservices-based solutions.
- Strong integration experience across ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite, alongside WCS/WES/MHE technologies.
- Good SQL and data analysis capabilities.
- Practical understanding of e-commerce, B2B, omni-channel and high-volume distribution operations.
- Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
- Manhattan Active certification.
- Experience migrating from legacy Manhattan WMS platforms to Manhattan Active.
- Exposure to Manhattan Active Order Management or Transportation Management.
- Experience with automated warehouses, including ASRS, AMRs, goods-to-person, sortation and WES/MHE solutions.
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
