Our successful Skelmersdale Branch is currently looking for an FLT & Pickup Driver to join our external, yard-based team. This is a hands-on role supporting yard operations and completing local deliveries and drop-offs. A full clean UK driving licence is required.

NWTT (North West Timber Treatments Limited) is a well-established, family-owned timber and construction supplier with seven depots situated throughout the North West of England. The company has experienced significant growth over the last three years and is looking forward to further growth in the years ahead.

Responsibilities
In this role you will work as part of our external yard-based team. Duties are varied and will include:
- Assisting customers with collections and queries
- Picking and packing orders accurately
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Storing stock safely and securely in the yard
- Maintaining a tidy, safe working environment
- Completing local deliveries and drop-offs (supporting both branches as required)
What You’ll Need
- Counterbalance FLT licence (required)
- Full clean UK driving licence (required)
- Previous Timber/Builders Merchant experience is an advantage
- You will be working with customers daily, so we are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly and approachable
- Proactive and reliable
- Hard-working with a positive attitude
- Accurate with strong attention to detail
The Details
- Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
- Pay: Up to £28,572 per year
- Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) + Saturdays overtime
