The salary scale for a Band 3 has been adjusted as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2026/2027 and will be implemented in August 2026 backdated to 01 April 2026 where applicable.
Job Overview

Due to our current demands, we are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible workers who are interested in helping us during this time. The role will suit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to work in a busy production environment that processes linen for Hospitals and Health care premises across Wales.
We are looking to add to our Bank pool in the following Laundry Sites: Greenvale, Newport. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
The All Wales Laundry Service is responsible for all laundry and linen provided to the entirety of the NHS in Wales, which is one of the most crucial necessities for any hospital environment. The availability of clean, good quality and decontaminated linen is a fundamental requirement of high quality and safe patient care.
The successful applicant will be involved in the daily production of linen becoming an active member of the team in order to compete with the demand for linen across the NHS in Wales. We are looking for enthusiastic team members who are eager to learn and to develop themselves and are highly motivated, who want to make a difference to our customers' experience in the NHS and who demonstrate values and personal qualities that support NWSSP Laundry Services way of working.
