Job Overview

We are seeking reliable, hardworking, and flexible workers to join our Bank pool. This is a bank position and is not a permanent role. Bank staff are not guaranteed hours but gain experience and flexibility across a variety of roles and locations.

Roles involve working in a busy production environment processing linen for hospitals and healthcare premises across Wales. The position will be based at one of the following Laundry Sites:

  • Greenvale, Newport
  • Glan Clywd, Rhyl
  • Llansamlet, Swansea
  • Church Village, RCT
  • Glangwili, Carmarthen

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Daily production of linen within the All Wales Laundry Service, ensuring clean, high‑quality, and decontaminated linen for hospitals and healthcare premises.

• Act as an active member of the team, competing with demand for linen across the NHS in Wales.

• Deliver quality customer service to internal and external customers.

Person Specification

Essential criteria

  • Experience working in an industrial or factory production environment.
  • Good standard of general education.

Desirable criteria

  • Previous commercial or health‑care laundry experience.

Applicant Requirements

Welsh language skills are desirable.

To work in the UK, candidates who are not UK or Republic of Ireland nationals require sponsorship to obtain a Health and Care visa or a Skilled Worker visa unless they have permission to work via another route. Candidates should self‑assess the likelihood of obtaining a Certificate of Sponsorship via the Work in the UK portal.
