This is an exciting opportunity to work within an NHS laundry based in Rhyl, North Wales. We are looking to recruit a Laundry Assistant to work on the Glan Clwyd Hospital site. The role suits an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is keen to work in a busy production environment that processes linen for hospitals and health‑care premises across North Wales.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out tasks within all sections of the laundry as and when required, including receiving, sorting, processing soiled and infectious linen, and dispatching clean linen to customers.
  • Perform in set areas of work within a flexible framework, including sorting, wash house, calendars, dry fold, packing and dispatch.

Experience

  • Essential: Working in an industrial or factory production environment.
  • Desirable: Previous commercial or health‑care laundry experience.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Good standard of general education.
  • Desirable: Laundry‑specific qualification.

Candidate Profile

Welsh language skills are desirable; candidates who speak Welsh and/or English are equally welcome to apply.
