An exciting opportunity has arisen within the NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership Procurement Services, Supply Chain, Logistics & Transport Team function. We currently have a vacancy to oversee a project team delivering the roll out of a new inventory management system to the Hywel Dda Health Board, at Withybush General Hospital.
The job role is a Supply Chain Supervisor, where the successful postholder will be supporting the Local R&D Manager in overseeing the operations and supervising the staff within the Receipt & Distribution site, as well as supporting the roll out of Supply X.
Main duties of the job:
- Assisting in the rollout and supervising of a new inventory management system within Withybush Hospital
- Supporting the Local R&D Manager in the day-to-day management/supervising of the R&D Site and its functions
- Liaising with service users to promote the use of the new system
- Ensuring staff's statutory & mandatory training is maintained, as well as ensuring staff are proficient in using the Supply X inventory management system
- Ensuring effective stock levels are held
- Deputising for the Local R&D Manager when required
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
