About The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced HGV-Fueller to join our Garage team. This is a key role, ensuring that all NWH vehicles - and those of our customers - are safe, compliant, and ready for the road. This role will be based at our Head Office and reports to the Garage Manager or Workshop Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and rectifying all types of tyre defects
- Refuelling vehicles safely and diligently
- Inspecting tyres each time vehicles return to the workshop
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Using specialist tools in line with Health & Safety guidelines
- Always demonstrating a proactive approach to safety and PPE compliance
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (Desirable)
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A strong team player with a can-do attitude
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations
- Experience of working with HGV or specialist vehicles (Desirable)
