Our team of over 350 employees operates across ten sites in Scotland and North East England.
We are looking for an 360 Excavator Driver and A Wheeled / tracked Loading Shovel Driver to work at our Depot.
What will you be responsible for?
- Maintain a high level of safe working across the site.
- Loading material into various vehicles Fixed Plant / Shredders / Trommel.
- Pre-picking waste.
- Good general daily housekeeping of the site.
- Carrying out daily safety, greasing, and maintenance checks and documenting as per company procedures.
- Checking and re-filling fuel and oil daily.
- Effective Communication to other vehicle operators at sites to ensure safe and efficient working environment.
- Loading plant at the optimal rate.
- Ensure machinery and cabins are locked at end of shifts.
- Complete any other reasonable tasks or requests as required.
- Ensure breakdowns are reported to line manager in accordance with the site escalation process.
