About The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Water Team as a Water Quality Performance Coordinator (known internally as Network Performance Coordinator) focusing on our Compliance Risk Index performance commitment. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and investigative skills alongside the ability to demonstrate leadership, communication, and influencing skills. This is a critical role in driving forward our plans to ensure we can meet our high standards of performance in an ever-changing environment.

Compliance Risk Index is one of the biggest challenges in our organisation. Every part of our operation from abstraction to the customer's tap can influence this measure. As such, there are opportunities to be part of many exciting initiatives. You will work collaboratively with others to deliver actionable insights which are critical to driving us forward, challenging our thinking and focusing our attention on the best solutions. You will also support the development of our long-term water quality plans to maintain compliance in the future.

About You:

You will use your experience in a technical discipline, such as mathematics or science, to understand and develop better ways of working toward regulatory targets. Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of our regulatory environment and an understanding of water treatment processes and water distribution systems.

You will be confident building trusting relationships with stakeholders. You will be able to challenge but also recognise when support is required. This role has no line managerial responsibilities, so you must be able to influence and collaborate with others to achieve outcomes.

You’ll need to remain calm under pressure and deliver high-quality outputs with excellent attention to detail, filtering, prioritising, and analysing information from a variety of internal and external sources. If you are solution-focused, continually looking to improve processes and want to make a difference in the water industry, we want to hear from you.

You will also need to be able to travel, and therefore a current driving licence is an essential requirement of this role.
