Role overview
Are you passionate about environmental stewardship and driving difference? We have an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Delivery Services (IDS) Programme Manager within our Asset Directorate. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with colleagues across the business to lead the successful delivery of outputs aligned with our ambitious company objectives.
You will oversee a multi-million-pound capital investment programme focusing on delivering high priority business outcomes. Leading a team of Project Managers, you will drive safe, lean, and agile delivery in line with the IDS ethos. Your leadership will nurture and sustain a high-performance team culture, embedding innovation and continuous improvement within your teams. You will demonstrate efficiency, best practices, rigorous application of programme and project management processes, and achieve a high level of predictability of output. Additionally, you will manage and direct the commercial approach through all phases of the programme lifecycle.

This role will have accountability for the strategic IDS relationship with our Water and Wastewater Tactical Planning teams and will use a deep level of skill and understanding to collaboratively shape individual projects and programmes at a foundational stage to drive optimisation of delivery efficiency and maximise benefit realisation. Accordingly, you will be responsible for the IDS input into the business Delivery Route Selection Model.
Furthermore, you will manage the overarching ecosystem delivery vehicle of our industry-leading NWG AMP8 Delivery Model, which blends internal and external expertise. As the ecosystem scales to deliver the breadth of AMP8, you will embed hybrid delivery models and drive creative collaboration to attain new levels of delivery performance. You will ensure ecosystem partner activities align with company quality standards, satisfy relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, and most importantly, are carried out safely to ensure everyone goes home safe every day.
