Overview
We're looking for a reliable, proactive Blend Shed Operative to join our busy animal feed manufacturing team.
This is a hands‑on production role at the heart of our operation, ensuring high‑quality feed is blended, processed, and prepared safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate blending equipment to produce feed mixes according to production schedules
- Weigh, measure, and load raw materials with accuracy and attention to detail
- Monitor machinery performance and report any issues promptly
- Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas
- Follow strict quality, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times
- Complete production records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across production, quality, and logistics
Qualifications
- Previous experience within a production environment working with raw materials would be advantageous but not essential
- Comfortable working with machinery and manual handling
- Good communication skills are essential to be successful within the team environment
- Computer literate with the accuracy to ensure sampling data is recorded correctly
