We are looking for a highly analytical and driven Network Planner to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, optimising, and maintaining our transport and distribution network to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and excellent service levels across operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role shaping logistics strategy, supporting business growth, and improving operational performance.

Day to Day

  • Design and optimise distribution and transport networks to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Analyse volume trends, capacity, and service performance to support planning decisions
  • Develop routing and scheduling models to improve delivery and collection efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for network improvements and lead implementation of solutions
  • Collaborate with operations, transport, and commercial teams to ensure alignment
  • Produce detailed reporting, forecasts, and performance insights
  • Support peak planning and contingency strategies
  • Monitor KPIs and recommend continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work with data systems and planning tools to enhance network visibility

What will you bring?

  • Proven experience in logistics, transport planning, or supply chain network design
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning tools or modelling software is desirable
  • Understanding of transport operations (routing, fleet utilisation, capacity planning)
