We’re looking to appoint a Stock Manager to our Transactional Services Leadership Team based out of our Crewe Head Office at NWF Fuels. A pivotal role where you’ll lead the stock control function across our depots, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with commercial and domestic sales teams, AP, IT, and Finance systems to deliver operational excellence and shape the future of stock management in our division. Day to Day

  • Lead daily reconciliation of stock movements across multiple Fuels depots
  • Oversee timely processing of depot paperwork and ensure prelists are sent to sales teams
  • Investigate stock gains & losses, analysing and identifying trends and root causes
  • Maintain and enforce stock policy across the division
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance systems teams to implement digital solutions
  • Manage stock-related controls, supporting audit & compliance activities
  • Lead, develop and coach a team of Stock Administrators
  • Represent Stock Control in the Transactional Services Leadership Team

What will you bring?

  • Proven experience in Stock Control or Inventory Management
  • Strong analytical skills, attentive to detail with the ability to work to tight daily deadlines
  • Previous experience leading and managing teams
  • Ability to lead process improvement and automation projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels
  • Previous experience in Fuels or Logistics sectors, working with ERP systems, and financial governance would be advantageous but not essential
