This role blends hands-on sales leadership with active outbound selling. You’ll spend 50% of your time coaching, motivating, and developing a team of fuel card sales executives, and the other 50% actively selling on the phone, driving new business and setting the standard for performance. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, a natural motivator, and a proven closer who leads from the front.

Day to Day
- Team Performance Management— Monitor daily KPIs, pipeline activity, call quality, and conversion rates to ensure the team consistently hits targets.
- Coaching & Development— Deliver regular 1:1s, call coaching, and structured training sessions to build capability and confidence.
- Motivation & Culture— Create a high-energy, competitive, supportive environment that keeps the team engaged and hungry for results.
- Recruitment & Onboarding— Support hiring, onboarding, and ramp-up of new team members.
- Reporting & Forecasting— Provide accurate weekly performance updates, pipeline forecasts, and insights to senior leadership.
- Outbound Prospecting— Make outbound calls to SMEs and fleet operators to generate new fuel card business.
- Consultative Selling— Understand customer needs, present tailored fuel card solutions, and overcome objections confidently.
- Pipeline Ownership— Manage your own sales funnel from lead to close, ensuring consistent activity and conversion.
- Target Achievement— Meet and exceed monthly revenue, volume, and acquisition targets.

- Strong phone-based selling ability with a track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
