Accounts Payable Stock Administrator – Head Office – Crewe
As an Accounts Payable Stock Administrator, you will work in a small team at the Head Office in Crewe, assisting the Team Leader with daily processes and control management. You will play a vital role in the end-to-end accounts payable process, including statement reconciliation and query resolution.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and possess an understanding of all aspects of stock management. Strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, methodical working style, ability to meet strict deadlines, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of supplier statement reconciliations are essential.
The role:
Cash Management:
- Record and post payments into CODAS.
- Manage all unallocated cash.
Ledger Management:
- Reconcile monthly statements for all suppliers.
- Manage debit balances and aged on-hold invoices.
Invoice Processing:
- Enter and match stock-related invoices to GRNI.
- Enter invoices into Softco and send for approval.
Support:
- Assist the Accounts Payable Team Leader with daily processes and controls.
- Contribute to Accounts Payable projects.
Transaction Stocks:
- Verify and enter all stock receipts into CODAS systems.
- Confirm delivered quantities from previous day’s deliveries.
- Verify and enter third-party/miscellaneous stock receipts into CODAS.
- Process stock adjustments in CODAS.
- Reconcile daily bulk stocks and investigate discrepancies.
- Balance miscellaneous stock reconciliations.
- Review and develop processes for continuous improvement and maintain controls.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced transactional environment.
- Strong understanding of supplier statement reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with Accounts Payable transactions.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
