As a Trainee at Fujitsu, you will be allocated to one of our Early Career role streams and receive the specific training and support needed to launch your career. You will be aligned to the infrastructure team to develop your skills in platform support and Microsoft technologies.
Responsibilities
- Receive Networking Infrastructure training through our specialist training provider
- Gain Level 3 Networking Infrastructure certification
- Attend Belfast Met to study one day a week and earn while you learn
- Experience training and development in both soft and technical skills
- Learn to be part of a high‑performing team
As part of your trainee, you will work with technical engineers to:
- Support large‑scale infrastructure platforms including OS management, cloud management, enterprise backup and storage management
- Handle incident management and planned change
- Work across multiple customer accounts in the private and public sector
- Perform routine support tasks, administrative functions, problem investigations and resolutions, and provide guidance to customers
- Support Microsoft Operating Systems
- Understand the customer’s environment and service delivery requirements to deliver first‑class service
- Listen to and understand basic customer problems and manage escalation processes
- Escalate issues as necessary to meet or exceed service level agreements
- Be a team player and an effective member of the support team
Qualifications
- 1 A Level (grade A‑C) or a Level 3 BTEC Qualification (MMM or above)
- 5 GCSE (grade A‑C including English and Maths) or equivalent
