The role of the Deputy Manager is to support the Registered Manager, Area Service Managers and NWCare personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Management of all aspects of company activity within agreed policies and procedures.
- Ensure a quality of service to all Service Users.
- Ensure that all standards of the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority are met.
- Manage the location and allocated area(s) in conjunction with the duties of an ASM.
- Assist with rota management and the daily management of each area and location.
- Hold the on-call phone on a rota basis.
- Work within GDPR legislation.
- Participate in area and managers on-call arrangements to ensure service.
- Accept duties in the best interest of the service users including delivery of care when required.
- Implementation and participation of continuity arrangements.
- Cover rotas including at weekends when business needs require.
Skills and Qualifications:
- QCF Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
- 12 months experience in Domiciliary Care at Area Service Manager level or above.
- NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) registration completed at training, if not already registered.
- Enhanced AccessNI.
- Right to work in UK.
- Must hold on-call phone on a rota basis.
- Managerial experience in a domiciliary care agency.
- Minimum of QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
