Due to expansion of service, we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well‑being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be attentive to Service Users\’ needs, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people\’s lives. These positions offer an opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where your efforts directly enhance the quality of life for those in your care. NWCare are now recruiting home care assistants in Plumbridge. Please note: Criteria for this role is that you apply for an Enhanced Access NI certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Care in the community
  • Personal care – showering, washing, oral hygiene, toileting
  • Light meal preparation
  • Companionship
  • General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean

Skills and Qualifications

  • Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
  • Able to promote and deliver person‑centred care
  • Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
  • Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
  • QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care
