Home Care Assistant in Belfast

NWCare do not provide sponsorship at this time. NWCare is one of N Ireland\’s leading health care agencies, serving the community for well over 50 years. We are recruiting home care assistants for East Belfast. We have morning (07.00 – 14.30), afternoon (15.00 – 18.30) and evening (19.00 – 23.00) rotas available. Full bespoke training will be provided for this role. You must, however, hold a full UK driving licence and have the use of a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Care within the community
• Light meal preparation
• General tidy round leaving all areas safe and clean
• Companionship
• Personal care; showering/washing, oral hygiene & toileting

Skills and Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Able to promote and deliver person centred care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

We can offer both full time and part time flexible rotas. We work off a 4/3 rota pattern, as follows:

• Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday
• Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
