We are distinguished by our commitment to excellence in care and our unwavering dedication to our clients. We are proud to be rated as a "Good" provider by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which reflects our exceptional standards and quality of service. Our mission is centred on providing outstanding, person-centred support and community-based services, ensuring individuals achieve the highest possible level of independence.

Our Services:

  • Adult Care Services: Home Care, Supported Living, Live-in Care, Reablement & Hospital Discharge, Specialist & Complex Care, End-of-Life Care
  • Residential Care: Ofsted-registered homes providing safe, therapeutic environments for children and young people aged 8–17 with emotional and behavioural needs, autism, ADHD, or trauma history.

The Opportunity:

This is a pivotal role for an experienced manager to take full operational and clinical responsibility for our service. You will step in to lead, develop, and inspire our dedicated team of six Care Coordinators. We are looking for a strong clinical leader (ideally a Registered Nurse) who can provide robust clinical governance, and a commercially astute operator who is passionate about expanding a premium, private-led care business. You will have the autonomy to shape the service, influence growth, and be rewarded for your scaling success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Directly line manage, mentor, and supervise our team of 6 Care Coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Clinical Governance (Lead Role): Act as the clinical lead for the service. Provide expert advice on complex care packages, medication management, and clinical decision-making, ensuring all care is safe, effective, and evidence-based.
  • Quality & Compliance: Take full responsibility for CQC compliance, leading on audits, incident management, and continuous improvement. This role is key to maintaining and building upon our CQC "Good" rating.
  • Business Growth: Utilise your commercial awareness to drive the strategic growth of the service. You will be instrumental in expanding our private client base and scaling the business.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all day-to-day operations, from client assessments and care planning to staff rostering and stakeholder engagement (e.g., families, GPs, Local Authorities).

About You (The Ideal Candidate):

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or actively working towards it).
  • A valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Proven experience in a management role within a CQC-regulated domiciliary care or supported living service.
  • A strong track record with CQC inspections and an in-depth knowledge of regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills and commercial awareness.

How to Apply:

If you are a clinically-astute and commercially-driven manager ready to take the next step, we would love to hear from you. Please send your CV and a covering letter explaining why you are the perfect fit for this role to HR@nwandocare.co.uk.
