Responsibilities
- Producing 3D Technical production drawings of retail displays.
- Working as a Senior 3D engineer role, closely with Head of Manufacturing and directly with production teams.
- Working across many different clients & environments.
- Producing full SolidWorks technical drawings including BOMs.
- Pulling together production packs for client sign off and to hand over to production team.
- Attending project meetings for initial briefings with Project Managers & Production Managers.
- Developing ownership over own projects.
- Strong team player but also able to work independently.
- Communicating directly with Suppliers or Structural engineers where necessary, receiving feedback and building a good working relationship.
Qualifications
- Must have retail & production experience.
- Technical production experience with Joinery, Metalwork, Acrylic, Lighting & Print.
- Very strong experience using SolidWorks for detailed working production drawings.
- SketchUp experience will be an added bonus.
- A strong understanding of production materials & construction methods with the ability to brief in production teams.
- AutoCAD is a bonus.
- Strong attention to detail & quality standards.
