Temporary Administrator – Skipton
Pay rate: £14.10 per hour
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm | 9-day working pattern (every other Friday off)
NW Recruitment Services Ltd are recruiting for a temporary ongoing Administrator to join a respected manufacturing organisation in Skipton. This role offers a great opportunity to support a busy operations office and contribute to the smooth running of key business processes.
Working as part of the central administration team, you’ll provide essential support to the site operations, ensuring documentation accuracy, compliance, and efficient office management.
Key responsibilities:
- Handling general administration tasks including filing, photocopying, scanning and batching documentation
- Preparing and maintaining production and quality records to support operational compliance
- Assisting with data entry and document control for batch and stock tracking
- Coordinating internal communications and responding to departmental emails promptly
- Supporting procurement and logistics administration - raising purchase requests, updating spreadsheets and maintaining supplier information
- Managing controlled forms, ensuring version accuracy and traceability across departments
- Providing administrative support for training records, staff timesheets and meeting minutes
- Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy within all office operations
- Other general reasonable duties within scope of the role as requested or directed by manager
About you:
We’re looking for an experienced Administrator with strong organisational and communication skills. You should have previous experience in a manufacturing, technical, or service-based setting, where attention to detail and data integrity are key.
You’ll bring:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- A methodical approach to document handling and record keeping
- Good understanding of confidentiality and compliance in an office environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team setting
Working hours & benefits:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
- 9-day fortnight pattern (every other Friday off)
- 30-minute lunch plus two short breaks
- Temporary ongoing contract
