A new permanent job opportunity for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a growing team at a leading global manufacturing company, that specialises in high-precision machinery. As part of the production team, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling high-quality components used in advanced industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG/TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Conduct inspections to ensure welded structures meet their specifications.
- Operating welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet specific project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment while following health and safety guidelines.
Experience required
- Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
- Relevant welding qualifications or certifications are preferred.
Benefits / Hours
- Hourly rate: £17.20 (£35,776 per Annum) + overtime available paid at time & a half
- Monday – Thursday 7am – 4.30pm & Friday 7am – 11am (40 hours per week)
