We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic assistant gardeners to join our Client's team. As an assistant gardener, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and development of our gardens and grounds.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the supervisor of gardening with daily maintenance tasks.
- Planting, weeding, pruning, mowing, and watering of gardens and grounds.
- Operating and maintaining garden tools and equipment.
- Reporting any damage or issues to the head gardener.
- Ensuring that the garden areas are clean and tidy.
- Assisting with the preparation and execution of events held in the gardens.
Requirements
- Experience in gardening and horticulture.
- Ability to operate garden tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
