We are recruiting experienced HGV (Class 2) Refuse Driver for our local authority client, operating refuse and recycling collection vehicles throughout the Pendle region.
Typical working hours are as follows:
- Monday to Thursday - 07:30 - 15:30
- Friday - 07:30 - 15:00
Plus a 30 minute per day driver check - totalling 42 working hours per week.
Role responsibilities:
- Drive refuse and recycling vehicles on planned local collection routes
- Carry out collections of general refuse, recycling and green waste
- Work as part of a small crew, supporting and directing loaders as needed
- Be prepared to work off the vehicle loading bins and assisting the crew to complete the round
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
