We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various fabrication processes. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the production of components. You will work closely with engineering teams to interpret CAD drawings and execute machining tasks effectively. Responsibilities * Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling and turning equipment. * Interpret technical drawings and specifications using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks. * Perform fabrication tasks, including assembly and welding as required. * Utilise programmable logic controllers to enhance machine performance. * Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal operation. * Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process. * Use hand tools and tooling effectively to achieve desired specifications. * Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during machining processes. * Collaborate with team members to improve production workflows and efficiency.
