NW Recruitment Services Ltd are working exclusively in partnership with a well established and successful manufacturer and supplier of home and bedroom products in the Accrington area.
As part of a multi-site business with additional warehousing support, this position offers the opportunity to contribute beyond the showroom.
*This is a secure long-term permanent role paid via NW Recruitment Services Ltd for the initial 12-week which acts as the probationary period as agreed with the employer.

Role purpose
To support the day-to-day running of the showroom, deliver excellent customer service, and maximise sales of mattresses, beds, bed frames, headboards, bedroom furniture, accessories, and home furnishings.
The role combines showroom leadership, product selling, customer support, and operational responsibility.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Showroom Manager / Director with the daily running of the showroom.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and consultative sales to retail customers.
- Build strong product knowledge across mattresses, beds, bedroom furniture, and accessories.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable products based on comfort, style, budget, and requirements.
- Drive sales performance through proactive selling, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Handle enquiries in person, by phone, and by email.
- Process orders accurately and follow through to completion.
- Maintain showroom presentation, merchandising, and display standards.
- Support stock awareness, product availability checks, and basic inventory control.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, cash handling, and keyholder responsibilities where required.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to meet sales targets and service standards.
- Keep up to date with product ranges, pricing, promotions, and competitor activity.

- Previous experience in furniture retail, bedroom retail, or a similar showroom environment.
- Strong sales ability with a customer-first approach.

- Comfortable working weekends and a flexible 5-day rota.
