The role involves supporting emergency response across the UK and overseas, conducting on-site preliminary environmental risk assessments and developing conceptual site models to determine the most appropriate response measures.

Attend emergency pollution incidents involving oil, chemical and other spills across the UK and abroad. Carry out on-site pre-qualitative environmental risk assessments. Develop conceptual site models to decide appropriate response measures.

This is a very exciting role where no day is the same, with plenty of varied projects and the chance to work for a global company that offers scope for career advancement and overseas exposure.

Applicants will require a minimum of four years’ experience within a contaminated-land role, ideally within an environmental consultancy specialising in remediation or spill response. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK; the company does not offer sponsorship. Candidates must have relevant experience dealing with land contamination.
