The role:
As a Senior Lawyer at Liverpool City Council, you will provide legal advice and representation in areas of law of relevance to the Council including information governance and public law challenges to decisions. You will have personal responsibility for a varied caseload, and act as a subject expert, with appropriate support and supervision from the Head of Law. Our Senior Lawyers supervise, support and develop Lawyers, Legal Officers (where applicable) and Trainee Lawyers. The role of Senior Lawyer reports to the Head of Law (Commercial). You will work collaboratively within your team and the service to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
