The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Full training and support will be given to trainee candidates. Centre-based delivery in North Wiltshire. 37 hours per week.
Your duties will include:
- Deliver engaging Welder training, to military trainees, utilising MMA, MIG/MAG, FCAW, TIG and OA.
- Coach, support and motivate learners throughout their training programme and provide revision training as required.
- Carry out visual and destructive testing of welds.
- Invigilate, mark and assess practical and theoretical examinations and weekly progression tests.
- Prepare lesson plans and support materials.
- Review material/content to ensure it is current and reflects new technology and equipment advances.
- Maintain training equipment.
- Supervise learners and visitors to ensure compliance with H&S.
- Assist with manufacturing tasks and welding-related repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Candidates must hold a recognised level 3 qualification in Welding (Apprenticeship, or equivalent)
- Must hold a minimum 3 years’ experience in a welding environment
- Must hold supervisory experience
- Good working knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages
- Hold OR be willing to work towards a Level 4 Teaching Qualification.
- Confident to deliver classroom based / group training (full training and resources provided)
- Hold or willing to undertake DBS clearance
