Purchase Ledger Clerk

Our client, based in Preston, is currently recruiting for an Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy and expanding team.

Responsibilities

  • Processing high volumes of invoices
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries via telephone and/or email
  • Regular reconciliations
  • Assisting with bi‑weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Assisting with month‑end closure
  • Ad‑hoc accounting duties linked with the accounts payable team

You must be a confident communicator, a good team player and naturally organised. You will work methodically and meet tight deadlines.

Benefits

Competitive salary of £24,000.00–£26,000.00 per year, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, free on‑site parking, and flexible working hours (8‑4 or 9‑5).
