Our exclusive client based in Bamber Bridge are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant. Your role will be to assist in the production of the management accounts for various subsidiary businesses as well as support the finance team with the day to day accounts.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly management accounts (Profit and Loss, Balance sheet and other financial documents)
- Accruals and prepayments
- Responsibility for the fixed asset registers
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions
- Intercompany Recharges
- Support UK & Overseas finance departments, where necessary
- Support the purchase ledger at month end and at busy periods
- Any other adhoc duties
Requirements
- You must have previous experience to be considered for this role.
- You need to also be a strong Excel user, have excellent organisation skills, be a confident communicator and have excellent attention to detail.
