Our exclusive client based in Chorley, are currently recruiting for a Group Commercial Assistant to join their busy team. You will work closely with the Commercial Director, Sales team and finance to maximize productivity and sales.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating new business partnerships and new markets
- Working with GHCO and Account Managers on preparing new business proposals and tender responses
- Commercial evaluation of existing business partnerships ensuring profitability is maintained and pricing structures are reviewed accordingly
- Commercial analysis to propose renewal terms
- Monitoring company performance against budget, reporting weekly and monthly to GHCO & GCOO
- Providing ad hoc reports where requested for Group Chief Executive Officer & Group Head of Finance
- Working with Commercial Director to produce data for client stock holding ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, forecasting and purchase proposals and customer approval process for underwritten stock
- Working across departments to ensure efficiency of system generated data
- Making improvements to systems and process to ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
This role would suit someone who has previous commercial experience who can interpret and manipulate data, be a good communicator and have a high level of IT literacy. Someone who has previous experience of working on tender responses and who has previously been involved in reading contracts and tenders would be advantageous.
