Location: Romsey Fire Station, Romsey, SO51 8ED
Hours: 1 hour per day, between 8am and 1pm, Tuesday and Thursday, 2 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour, paid four-weekly
Job Type: Part-time, permanent
Start: Immediate start available
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently and as part of a team, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
As a fire station cleaner, you will play an important role in providing a Clean, Hygienic and Safe environment for firefighters, staff and visitors. Whether you have previous cleaning experience or are new to the industry, we'll provide full training, ongoing support, and everything you need to succeed.
What will you be responsible for?
- Cleaning communal areas, offices, kitchens, toilets, corridors and other station facilities
- Dusting and wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Emptying bins and replenishing supplies
- Following clear cleaning schedules, procedures and checklists
- Working safely and respectfully
Please note: This role requires a DBS check.
