Overview
Area Cleaning Manager for our contract with Hampshire County Council. You will be responsible for cleaning operations on your sites, ensuring they run smoothly and to budget. You will manage around 50 cleaners across libraries, country parks, activity centres and other sites in Hampshire (North and East Hampshire: Fareham, Portsmouth, Havant, Petersfield, Farnborough, Basingstoke area).
Responsibilities
- Look after around 50 site cleaners, across multiple sites in your area.
- Recruit, onboard and train your team; manage motivation, wellbeing and performance.
- Order stock for each site and carry out regular site audits.
- Complete timesheets to ensure accurate monthly payroll.
- Ensure cleaning operations meet required standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
- Report to the Service Manager for the area.
Hours, Salary & Area
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Salary package: £30,900 p.a. plus company van.
The area: You will look after around 50 sites for Hampshire County Council.
Requirements & Skills
- Sound experience as an Area Cleaning Manager, Site Cleaning Manager, or a Cleaning Supervisor.
- Self-motivated and organised, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with your team and on-site customers.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and coordinate teams effectively.
