NVIDIA Digital Human Tech group uses modern AI, Computer Graphics and Animation technologies to democratize creation and application of Digital Characters and Avatars. We are looking for a passionate, world-class computer scientist to work as an AI Animation R&D Intern to reinforce these efforts. Interesting and challenging tasks are guaranteed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop novel Deep Learning-based architectures and algorithms for solving problems in character animation (facial and body), computer graphics, physical simulation, signal processing, and more
- Prototype experimental solutions with Python and modern DL frameworks
- Study and apply new innovative DL/Graphics/Animation techniques
- Work with a team of developers to invent, develop, productize and support the technology
What we need to see:
- Pursuing B.S. in machine learning, computer science or equivalent study in related fields
- Understanding of modern ML/DL algorithms and architectures
- Knowledge of Python and PyTorch
- Excellent math skills
- Knowledge of C/C++, software design, programming techniques
- Strong work ethic: self-motivated, able to receive constructive feedback and integrate into work, excellent teammate with a collaborative/cooperative attitude
- Understanding of and appreciation for schedules and deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Understanding of modern approaches in Computer Graphics and Animation
- Experience in CUDA / parallel programming / physical simulation
- Experience in development of Cloud (web) applications
- Some travel may be required for conferences and other events.
