We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect based in the UK who will be part of our Networking Solution Architect team. This team supports technical aspects of sales engagements for NCPs, AI Factories and Enterprise customers. You will be responsible for driving our end-to-end technology solutions with a specific focus on the networking portfolio.
What you’ll be doing:
- Define reference architectures - blueprint for end-to-end solutions integrating GPU and networking into a data-centre solution.
- Support account teams identifying new business opportunities for Nvidia Networking products and technology solutions in cloud, telco, enterprises, artificial intelligence, and Large-Language-Models (LLM) applications.
- Work closely with the Sales teams and Product Marketing to make our customers' dreams a reality.
- Technical account management for Nvidia Networking product key accounts.
- Conduct regular customer meetings for product updates and introductions to new technology solutions and delivering product roadmap presentations to customers and technology partners.
- Respond to RFP/RFI proposals for AI factories, HPC clusters, Cloud, Enterprise and more, covering network designs.
- Build and deliver custom-tailored product demonstrations and POCs for solutions that address critical business needs for our customers.
- Technical project management of complex networking deployments and design-in opportunities.
- Analyse and troubleshoot performance issues with new technology at the customer site and prepare and deliver technical training presentations.
- Provide constructive feedback to engineering regarding product requirements, evolution, including submitting Requests for Enhancements supported with business evidence.
What we need to see:
- This role is for an individual with the motivation and skills to drive the technical pre-sales process. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Solution Architect (or similar Sales Engineering roles) experience.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, electrical engineering, or computer engineering.
- Datacentre engineering, networking, or cloud application knowledge. Deep networking experience, including network topologies considerations, solid knowledge of L2/L3 Ethernet or other networking protocols.
- Understanding of system-level issues, including Operating Systems, Linux kernel drivers, PCIe devices, NICs, and hardware architecture.
- Technical presentation skills and confidence in developing Proofs-of-Concept.
- Must have a strong sense of achievement and customer-focused attitude.
- Effective time management and capable of balancing multiple demands with competing deadlines.
- Travel required as needed, mainly in EMEA.
