This unique concept introduces an alternative solution to the market, providing faster installation and reducing total install costs. FleXbus Advanced maintains a high level of reliability while enabling easy and customizable connections onsite, without the need for additional design studies, specialized workforce, or costly tools.

Role

Field Application Engineer for nVent Eriflex Flexbus and member of the sales team, you will be acting as a brand expert to drive commercial development within the assigned territory. This includes defining technical solutions and commercial offers while being involved in specific projects or market segments within our designated Northern Europe Cluster: UK, Ireland, Nordics.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering offices on the specifications of the brand’s products
  • Collaborate closely with all sales teams within the cluster when your expertise is required
  • Support pre-project teams (e.g., VGL type, mega-project) from the beginning of the sales cycle with clients to understand the environment and constraints
  • Capture all technical, quality, and production requirements
  • Work closely with the engineering department to define customized solutions when requested
  • Build commercial offers based on the defined technical solution
  • Present and defend technical and commercial proposals
  • Ensure a consultative approach to customers on product use and implementation
  • Ensure project follow‑up to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Organize customer visits and conduct commercial actions with prospects and customers
  • Proactively propose ideas regarding customer projects, designs, and offers

Qualifications

  • Higher education in electrical engineering or industrial automation is preferred
  • Proven experience in electrical high power connection systems, busduct systems, or similar would be preferred; experience in business with electrical contractors or specifiers will also be valued
  • You are an excellent communicator, both in written and verbal communication
  • Track record in working optimally in an international environment
  • You are a strong negotiator, with good ability to collaborate to reach agreements using persuasion, influence, and diplomacy
  • You are proactive, results‑oriented, with a strong ability to develop commercial activity
  • A valid driving license is required
  • Proficiency in English
